Friends lock.

I'm really sorry about this, but I've had to put my entire journal on friends lock because of personal reasons (read: nosy parents). I'll add pretty much anybody to my friends list, so just email me (elenbarathi@yahoo.com if it's not somewhere on my info page) if you want to get added.

Other random news: sunburned shoulders are impossible not to pick at. Don't get sunburned.

ETA: Decided to un-friends-lock everything. It's March 2006. If my parents are going to look on here (unlikely) they hardly remember my screenname, and I'll have the really touchy stuff on friends lock anyway. I really wish I didn't have to but whatever. Again, I'll friend basically anyone if they want me to friend them.

good idea

Ehm, my mom decided to invade and look at my journal, but I convinced her that journals are supposed to be *private* (I don't understand why she didn't see that *before*) and she got concerned about my safety and such and kind of forced me to do that. There was quite a bit of stuff (including stuff about Celebrian and me hiding stuff on the computer that I didn't want her to see) that I didn't want her to see. If that makes any sense. And I made sure it logs off every time I close the browser window, just in case she decides to get my dad to let her into my account. Blalch. I hate parents.

and of course it's for our own "safety". Honestly, do they think I'd go meet someone (in real life) that I met on the internet? And even if they did manage to kidnap me (unlikely that they'd even have found me, much less had any opportunity), I still have my letter opener. Or I'll get my own soon. Anyway, it's kind of pointless to worry about our "safety". Don't they think we can take care of ourselves at *all*?

I get a sense of foreboding...but it can't be all that bad compared to Celebrian, can it?
